I installed the new Valve Cover tonight, man that was easy and looks sweet! Here is a link to the how-to on removing it and reinstalling it! Check out the pics!

so, basicly, once you got the VC off, you just polished it with some chrome polish???

No, I bought a used one, got it professionally polished, and swapped them out tonight.

I actually do not remember now. A company on the net that Flomax recommeneded.

Hey, looks great with the polished valve cover. Seems like a lot of work, though. If you could replace the cover insert with something cool like "Performance tuned by Russ", that would make it even better.

Personally, i'd be afraid to take off the valve cover. With all the dust and crap in the engine compartment, you could easily get something inside the engine with the cover off.

Good work expanding the customizations available to Maxima owners!

Intake runners are plastic, you can't do anything to that..... Spark plug cover, dunno what I am gonna do with it yet.

They said they were gonna put something on it, so all I need to do is keep it clean. I have no idea what they used though.

I paid $50 for the valve cover used. You can probably get it for that.....
