In pundork's write up the silencer is removed. I only did the <B>K&N drop in mod (No OSCAI).</B> I'm wondering what would happen if I removed the silencer in the case of this MOD?

Would I have to plug the hole that the OSCAI hose normally mounts on and how much noise would removing the silencer cause.

Looking for a low rumbling growl effect.

The silencer isn't doing anything at all. It just hooks up through an L-shape tube to the air scoop. You can get rid of the L-tube, but there won't be any real increase in noise, or performance.
