SUPER CHARGED SALEEN vs 96 5sd MAX

Who here thinks there Max can take a Saleen? I have a 96 5 spd. Max which has become my beater car… the saleen is fast! Boys DON’T EVEN TRY IT! The 99 Saleen is a show piece of American power! Bring the fastest Max on, trust me not apples and oranges. I love my Max but the Saleen is in another league!

The question shouldn't be is there a Max that can take it, but how many? It a quick car (the 351) but if its way faster than your max, your Max was slow to begin with
I know I ran a few S/C'ed Cobras in SA, and they were pretty quick, but didn't take me....some where I think there's a video.....

There is a 1999 Saleen mustang in my home town that runs 14.2-14.4's all day long. SB97MAX just installed his SC on his max and is running 13.8's. He has an automagic also. If you were SC'd I'd say you should race for pinks.

Why would you post this here? Of course your S/C'd Saleen could take most maximas, different cars. How is it not apples and oranges? Do turbocharged Viper owners come onto the Mustang webpages and brag about how they could take Saleen's? Plus, there are a few Maximas that could take your car. What does your Saleen run? Finally, you can always make a Maxima faster with more mods. You can't ever make a Saleen hold as much stuff.

Why would you post this here? Of course your S/C'd Saleen could take most maximas, different cars. How is it not apples and oranges? Whoa there cowboys... I think he got the picture. Must have been one of those hit and run posts.. You know, the kind that love to get us all worked up. Also, 14.2/14.4 is pretty slow for a SALEEN. The guy must have started out in 3rd gear or something.
