I was looking at some pictures last night that my parents took on a recent trip to Europe. In one of the pics from Copenhagen, there is (what to us would be) a '97-'99 Infiniti I-30 -- same taillights and such, but what looked like wheel covers rather than alloy wheels. I couldn't make out in the picture what the badge said on back, but it had a European license plate. Just wondering if that would be considered a Nissan over there or if they have Infiniti?

 

Yes. Infiniti is a US only brand. Nissan is Nissan elswhere. You're looking at a Euro market maxima. It looks like a cross between the I30 and our Maxima.

Infinty isn't only in the US, up until recently we had Infinty here in AUSTRALIA, but due to lack of marketing by nissan, they folded that section here, they were only pushing the q45 though. Our maxima's here and in europe are basically a nissan badged i30

 

Some middle east contries, I think Saudi Arabia is one of them, have Infinities.

The middle east does have infiniti and every other luxury car. Those freak'n oil kings !!
