Attn: Bill94gxe and all other interested in EBC greens.......
I just ordered my second set. The first are their way out at around 14K miles. I felt it my duty to express my opinion to the sales guy at ebc. I told em they didn't last all that well(and I drive EASY)....to which he repiled about them being perf. pads and length is not a priority. I must agree. I did however ***** about the dust and how the adds claim no dust. I didn't get a real striaght answer out of him.
The good stuff:
I pleased to tell you that they have indeed changed the formula of the green stuff. They have added 4% copper which should take more heat away from the rotor and add it to the pad. Also he said some other changes will make this set last longer.
I do have my rotors(new nissan ones as of last Aug) ground down slightly. I only want a tad taken off for fear that they will warp quicker this time around.....again....with easy driving.
I'll post my results when I get em installed....hopefully buy the end of next week.

Thanks for the update Mike. I saw it on the 3rd gen board a few days back.
But I have to seriously wonder.......if the pads were so great, didn't dust, didn't wear fast, etc., why did they need to be changed?
They basically made them metallic pads, which puts them in Axxis Metalmaster territory, which will probably mean they will be rougher on rotors.
I pray they'll dust less.
Definitely keep us posted.
