Can anyone suggest a brand or model of Wiper Blades that are good please. I have had my stock on for 2 years and they ripped in a few places and just do not do the job any more...
What should I be looking for and how much should I be looking to spend??

I believe there sizes 21" and 22", and the best place to look is the dealer, mine cost $30 and there great!!! Clean the window very clean

 

the dealer ones are very good, but they are more expensive. I have the bosch wiper blades, i think i paid $20 for both and they are great. Also, buy a bottle of rainx and apply it to your windows. It makes a tremendous difference. With light rain, i usually don't put my wipers on becasue the water rolls off, kind off like it rolls off of a well waxed car.

 

Man, you can pick up a set of Anco blades at your local auto parts store. They're about $9.00 for the set, and clean very well.

 

I heard Bosch makes a good blade.

 

...my maxima was supposed to be a Z71 off road, anyway there is this ad for billet aluminum wipers for all vehicles they claim. I ordered the catalog. Will post how they look. Whop knows, maybe by the time I get the mag I'll even have my own scanner or digicam.

I'm not positive, but I think that it's recommended that you replace the wiper blade refills every year. They're not designed to last much longer than that, because they are constantly exposed to the sun & elements and eventually dry-rot and tear. Peace.

 

i say you get rid of the two blade set up and convert to the uni-blade

I just went out to the local Pep Boys and bought a set of Bosch wiper baldes. So far seem to do the job very nice, much better then what I had. Not sure if they are better then new OEM ones yet, but seem great...

I go through wiper blades like mad. I use my windshield washer everyday, so it wears out the rubber on the blades pretty quickly.

I've used all sorts of wiper blades, from cheapos to the premium brands. The cheapos are just that...cheap. They wear out after three months. They are good initially, but once they go, they go fast. So, I would stay away from the lower priced Anco or Trico blades.

I've had good success with Bosch microedge excel and the stock Nissan blades. They are more expensive, but after six months their performance is still acceptible. The standard bosch microedge is also good, but lasts only 4 months for me.

Right now I am running Microedge Excels. Once you get the blades, you can just add refills later on, which cost a lot less. The refills might even fit your stock blades.

 

clean them when you wash the car and put a rubber treatment like on your tires to keep them from drying out. 2 years is a long time, I replace mine every year. I like bosch.
