i need help ,i dont know wut 2do wit rca
i have 2 rca jacks ,red and black...the amp has 6 spots to put jacks in,4 are for channel 1 through 4, and next to that there are 2 saying left channel and right channel or it might have said front and rear i forgot, but anyway do i need a y connector and where do i plug my red and black jack....the amp has no color indicator,i feel stupid
First of all english and grammer are your friends.... To me it looks like the left 2 are if your just using it for right/left or just 2 channels. The other 4 are for if your using all 4 channels. So if your just using 2 channels bridged use the left 2. If your using all 4 channels then use all 4 jacks. It sounds like you only need the left 2 though because you only have 2 cables..

i'd say that the two by themselves might be outputs. I don't know and not familiar with autotek equipment, but most amps now have this feature. if i'm wrong, then adam's suggestion is the most logical.
does it matter where my red and black jacks go,like channels 1-2 get red ,3-4 get black.....and if i wanted to use 4 channels i could get a y connector for my jacks so each red and black have 2,im lost this sux
my head unit has 2 sets of rca cables but im using one set to go to my other amp ..and the other to this autotek, which is a 4 channel amp,i dont know if i wanna use it to power subs or speakers yet, i wanna see hoe both sounds

But tell me what amp and head unit it is..also is it brigded in anyway or straight 4 ohm mono and are you using all 4 channels.
its an autotek ss400.4 ....i put the red rca jack in to any channel and i hear sound but not really quality sound, but it could be because i dont know where to put the black rca,it doesnt seem to make a difference where i put the black rca sound wise,i get sound with or without it and im using all 4 ch

AS far as not getting the right sound, that may be the adjustments. I know they have different slections llike low pass high pass and flat then of course gains and what not. Make sure its not clipping you have the speakers wired in phase and the right slection for low/high pass or flat depending how you have it runing. It could indeed just be you have it out of phase ive seen alot of people do that alot.
