Would you buy a GS400 if.....

hey...just wondering would you guys buy a 99' lexus GS400 for $20,000 if it had 0 miles???

the reason i ask is becuase my dad owns a car lot...and he has recently come over this situation where he can get a bunch....for that price.....along w/cadillac escalades for the same amount and 0 miles....

so should I sell my max and get one of these?????just wondering what your thoughts on this are.....

and theres a little problem...Im a little shy of the 20k mark...but i could pry scrape it up.cuz thats a awesome deal......

How chould a 99 GS400 have 0 miles? If I found a GS400 with 60K miles for 20K I whould probably buy it. I have always loved GS400's but even a 98 is a little out of my reach since they still go for about $30-35K.

ok....here's the story....this guys parents owned a bunch of carlots..and they passed away leaving there son the lots...he couldn't afford the taxes on it....so he donated all the cars to this church....then for some reason it went to court over something...I'll have to ask my dad why...its been in court for 2 years now...so this is why they have 0 miles..and now they are just gonna sell the cars for 20k a piece....so my dad is gonna buy 200,000 worth..cuz there is one guy ahead of him that wants some too..and if he ends up not buying any my dad is going to buy all the cars..."he owns a car lot"...

Yes, without a doubt! Even if you choose not to keep it you'll still make a fortune off of selling it.

Can't pass up a deal like that if the GS 400 is legit and in very good condition! Sign the members up. We will be on the next train down.

Pawn whats up, my sister was going to get a 98 Gs400 for 18K from an auction, it had a ripped seat and had 74,000 miles. Can you do us a favor and ask your father what he's selling them at? my sister about to buy the car this Sunday or Monday so any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

GS400 w/0 miles for $20,000?

You've got to be kidding. I'd take one. I think anyone here would take one. Even if you don't need a new car, you could turn around and sell them off at a profit! Sure, you have to explain the whole story every time, but people will recognize you're legit when they see the "mint" condition of the car.

If this thing is legit, sign me up, too. Haha. Everyone wants in.

Sell that Max. I think this would be really easy to do when talking about the GS400, especially at that price.

I'll take one!!

I'd like a Silver one with Black Leather. It's gotta have the Nakamichi System, 17" Rims, and the Spoiler!

Anyone wanna buy my Max?

Later,
-Nick

I'm not picky about the color or options, I'd take one in a flash. I keep up with all of the dealers auctions and the only 98 GS400 I've ever seen slip out below the $20K mark would be something with around 100K miles and a few scratches here and there. So this is truly one hell of a deal. Let me know where to sign.

The possibility of pawn getting one for 20K is right on, but to think that his father will sell cars to complete strangers at no profit is nuts. If he is truly in the car business and wants to make a quick buck he will run them through an auction, or he will throw them on his lot. Pawn, if I am wrong about your father, I will be the first to bid 21K

hehe

www.gs400.org?

Ofcourse we are all kidding (right?). No one is going to sell you guys GS400s for 20 grand... he might get a deal since his dad owns the lot and all... hell, his dad should take a couple for himself aswell

But yea, I don't care about options either! A STOCK GS400 has more options then my pathetic Max. Or probably as much options as a loaded 2k. If I could have it myway, I'd take a silver one with black leather.

Not a question!!! The GS400 is MUCH more a car than any Maxima in my opinion.

Please understand that I am 110% serious when I say this. If your father is purchasing these cars at the specified cost, is there anyway we could work out a deal for one? I would possibly be interested in purchasing 1 GS400 and 1 Escalade. Please let me know what kind of price your father would offer, and where you are located. I am interested in an immediate purchase, and can be reached at:

Diamondcd5@aol.com

Thank you.

Also, if your father would be willing to speak with me, please include any contact info, (i.e- address, phone number..etc) If he has not purchased them yet, and he is willing to do a favor for one of his son's fellow Maxima owners, I would give him 40k right of the bat, and ask him to just get one more of each car (1 GS and 1 Escalade). Thank you, and I appreciate your prompt response.

Sorry Ethan can't get greedy because if you get the Navigation you can't get it with the Nakamichi system and vice versa.

If this is all really true and for real, then I'd be buying 3 cars off you (1 GS400 and 2 Escalades), please keep us updated.

Regards,
Mike
