I'm considering the OSCAI mod and went to survey the
area under the scoop where I thought the silencer bottle
would be. I couldn't see the silencer bottle at all???
Neither the L joint in the howto pics??

On top of that, the point (seen in the howto pics) where
it shows to attach the rubber coupler and the hose has no hole.
Am I supposed to cut the hole??? None of the write-up mentioned
this.

My car was like yours too. Doing the OSCAI mod is easier for us since there's less stuff to remove. Just cut the end off of the tube and attach your coupling and hose.

 

you have a 2001 model right? Then you won't have any of that stuff you mentioned. You will have to cut a hole in the stock scoop where the L-tube would go and start from there.

 

His profile says he has a 2000 SE Sunlit Sand just like you do!

 

It's a 2K model but you guys must be right because the whole
silencer bottle deal is not on mine. I bought it end 2000/begin 2001
year.
