On Dunlop SP5000's @23psi
Boy is it hard to launch a SC'd Max. My first few runs I was getting 2.2 & 2.3 60's and ETs in the low 14's I was like WTF
. After I got the launch down the 13's came in. I did two 13.6's so its not a one off.
However my EGT's are only 700c at the 1/4 mile mark, yep its way too rich. I was getting 810c when I was running just the 100hp shot of nitrous, before I switched to just boost, wich is perfect. I have a 3.25 pulley on now but am only seeing 8psi at 6500rpms. Either I have a boost leak or the SC is on its way out. Either I find the boost leak, fix the blower, change to a smaller pulley or put the 6:1 FMU disc back in, what to do!!! I need to do some work, and it will get faster!
I must say that the new CM/PR motor mounts work great. Wheel hop is gone. Spining through 1st & 2nd second gear is easier now
So is burning out. It was in the low 60's and night time so to get 2.1 60's I had to go through the water box and do a litle burn out on the Dunlop SP5ks to warm them up, and it worked well, no hop just smoke!
I think the Cattman/Quaife ATB will drop my et's. Traction was a problem so it should help shave a few thenths for sure, I cant wait till I get it installed!!!
They had mabye 20 imports show up, mostly hondas, mostly ricers wich couldnt hang. I took out a turbo mr2 he ran a 14.1 to my 13.6. I did get taken out by a VR4 Stealth, he ran a 13.5, next time he's mine. The track announcer was quite supprised that a Maxima was running 13's he played it up pretty good for us Maxima owners. MardiGrasMax was representing!!!

Awesome job. I'm heading to the track tomorrow... Detroit vs Imports event. I'm sure I'll be the only Max representing. I'm hoping to run a 14.7 in a stock max, thats my goal. I heard this track is crappy though, but I've never been there so we'll see. I've still got a few tricks up my sleeve!!! Again, sweet job.

I'm VERY SLOW!!
I am very slow. I have a huge stereo and colder plugs for nitrous, which is only good when you are using nitrous and right now mine is unplugged

see my 1/4 mile number make no sense i'm over 1/2 second slower than you but i'm trapping out equal or higher than you. i had one run at 14.54 @101mph and then my best of 14.24@102+. WTF i know my car is faster. oh well nos comes out tomorrow
