free gifts from Nissan again?

Some of you probably got the same cylinder with the Altima stuff inside. Free Kenneth Cole watch or tote bag with a test drive. Not bad. I got 2 Swiss Army's 2 years ago, everything actually retails for about $90.

My friend is funny, he got the same thing, he said he threw the container away because he thought it had anthrax inside *lol*

Looking forward to driving the V6 let's see if it's 5.9 or not w/5-spd

i got container the other day, damn thing is big, can't wait to go and test drive again, this time for a gift
my dad opened it when it came, thinking it was a container full of popcorn or some type of food, man, he's always looking for food. after he saw that it was just papers and a cd, he's like, "you got some crap in the mail", i'm just glad it wasn't food, otherwise i wouldn't have got it.

Re: Re: free gifts from Nissan again?

Well I got a flyer in the mail the other day. It has a coupon to get a Nissan backpack for $4.99 with any purchase. I'm going to buy my touch up paint now and pick up the backpack. Actually looks pretty good! $15.00 gets me the paint and the bag....not bad I guess?

Specs of the backpack:
Nissan embroidered in silver
Removable cellphone case with velcro attachment
Padded shoulder strap
Sturdy 600 denier nylon construction
Mulit-carry clip design and padded back rest.

Damn this thing is more refined, looks better and more comfortable than the new Altima interior!

yeah my roommates though it was a bomb....no wonder why Nissan has such a hard time turning a profit....they use such fancy packaging and give away too many free things

not that I mind, but if you gotta give away watches and satchel bags to attract customers, then you haven't advertised the car enough....look at the Camry....Toyota never gives away anything free and they sell a ton of Camrys.

I think they only send the high buck marketing stuff to folks who have filled out previous marketing surveys or are repeat buyers. I got a fancy Max keychain in late 1999 for filling out a question form on my opinions of the (then) new 2000 Maxima. Musta worked - I bought a 2000 Max less than a year later.

Maybe it'll work this time, too - I'm definitely going to test drive an Altima (provided they've got one in stick) just to get the new watch.

Well I used my coupon got 10% off a Genuine Nissan Accessory. Whoohooo I got some touch up paint and got this bag for $5.00. It is actually really good quality and has a nice cell phone holder. I'm giving it to my present girlfriend though.

I got mine yesterday. My mom acted all weird, thinking it was anthrax, especially since we live in Florida. She made me open it outside. Oh well, I'm getting the bad. I already have two Kenneth Cole watches. I'm going for the test drive on saturday, since they won't do it during the week. That's the best offer i've ever gotten thus far. The last one was from chevy to test drive the prism and you get a $50 savings bond.

That bag looks sweet. Did you get the coupon in the mail with the Altima brochure?

did some checking on the products over the web. Bag sells for 99.95, and watch for 95.00. Looks like the watch isn't quite as nice as the Swiss Army ones, but hey, it's FREE!
