y2kevse...removal of speedlimiter.......

on a 01 auto max,how do i remove the speedlimiter at 131? ecu recal maybe? have access to consult2. can you help me on this???

Where are you going to go over 130 mph? Maybe the limiter is there to stop the car from falling apart? What are your tires rated at, that's something to think about?

I remember reading yo_its_ok (Hogan) removing his speed limiter. A few 4th gens have done so too. Try searching for "Ben's ECU mod," or something like that, in the General Forum.
