Tell me how to get this EGR port off??

Can someone tell me how to remove this stupid EGR port? Ive got 0302.

Ive taken off my IACV and I got the 2 bottom nuts loosened on the egr but then I couldnt get the nut off completely because of the big pipe running in front of it. How can I get around this without taking that other pipe off?

Yes Ive searched I couldnt find a How to or anyone telling how to remove the stupid thing.

Some people have removed this nut with the pipe in the way, but with great difficulty.

The pipe from the EGR to the exhaust manifold needs to be loosened at the EGR valve, then it can be pried downward slightly. This will allow access to the 12mm nut on the EGR tube to the intake manifold.

Oh well dang that sucks. More stuff for me to do woohoo. I was gonna take it off tonight but then couldnt get that nut off all the way and said **** it since I had to have my car tomorrow.

So can I get a socket on those to loosen the other 2 bolts I need to take off?

Does anyone know about the EGR port block off that some ppl did? Can anyone give info on that?

I took a close quarters hacksaw and cut off the end of that bolt so that the nut was able to slide off of it. took 5-10 minutes to hack it off. The bolt went back on without a problem. Others have done it this way too.
