Yay! 13 Sec club!

Rock Falls Raceway on SLICKS this time!

Full Interior, No Spare, No Jack in back. At the beginning of the day it was kind of chilly and I was only able to pull 3 14.2 runs w/crappy 60 ft times. This is WITH SLICKS!:

60: 2.290
330: 6.012
1/8: 9.176
MPH: 77.58
1000: 11.912
1/4: 14.221
MPH: 97.59

At the end of the third run I was pretty upset. So I took the slicks off so that my brother could run it on his SRT-4. After the Maxima sat for awhile I decided to do a run on the street tires. I bested my previous time and trap speed 14.28@98mph with a new 14.21@100+ mph w/ a 2.2 60 ft. Now I knew I had to get the slicks back on!

The Results of warmer pavement was:

60: 2.071
330: 5.824
1/8: 8.923
MPH: 79.27
1000: 11.606
1/4: 13.870
MPH: 99.41

Ha ha ha! Finally in the club! Woo hoo!

Congrats on the milestone! On slicks you can get those 60's down even lower...

Good to see the MEVI/JWT combo still doing big things.

cool man. that's about as good as I was able to get my 60's my first time on slicks as well. 2.04 I think. Eventually I got into the 1.8s so you will get better.

Nice run!! You and I have very similar mods (except I have the 00VI) and are running similar times. I can't wait to try my set up out when it's not 90 degrees out. What have you done for weight reduction? Have you ever dynoed?

Yeap, first time on slicks. I'm sure I'd be able to get better times next time. I'll probably take the back seats out and the sound deadening tar to take off that little .05 seconds.

Temp was around 68 degrees tops. Mid 50's in the morning. A little too cold for good traction but the motor runs better longer.
