Suspension

I need to do this part of my car net, car catches every bump and i want it lowered. In lowering my car though, can I use any shock/strut assembly with any spring that fits maxima? i'm trying to get a 2" drop. Not for performance wise, just safety and looks

um... right now im riding on stock shocks/struts, on a 2" drop front and rear... i DONT recommend it, im gonna upgrade to AGX shocks/struts in a couple weeks, you're gonna feel every bump and your car is gonna bounce like a mother****er, especially going over dips and speed bumps... i ****ing hate it.

Right now i have tein h-techs over morgan shocks.

I'll be switching the H's for S's against everyones opinions because even though people say the ride is terrible, i really dont feel it.

If youre looking for springs, ill have the H's for sale in the next week or two. ~2000 miles on em iirc.
-1.8 and -1.2 drop im pretty sure.

i think sprints are the better of the 2" drop springs. definately want to upgrade dampers. tockico blues or gr2s are about equally respected. illuminas or agx if you want adjustability.

AGXs: Harsh ride

Blues: TOO soft for a 2" drop.

I would stick with Eibach springs, personal preferrance and best for the drop to spring rate ratio.

so by dropping your car, would you need to put new struts on and springs? or could you just put the new springs on?

P.S. MOHF- thats an awesome signature, about the florida thing of course!

You stock struts will cry out in pain if you put springs on them.

A 2" drop will void your warranty with any aftermarket shock.

Dude. There is a for sale section.

Dont bump old threads for no reason.

You're REALLY off topic.
