To some it's worth doing performance mods, even with stock wheels. Pics of the 22"s please!

Anyway why not sell your 22"s so you are back the performance you HAD, then with the money from the rims you can HAVE better peformance then you did.

well, on the bright side, he knows they're heavy as hell and seriously slowing his car down

do a 3.5 swap, slap on a S/C and call it a day, you'll redeem yourself even with 22x7.5s

You want performance back, get rid of the 19"+ wheels.

It's not just going faster with 22" wheels...you have to stop as well. Bye bye rotors, pads, bearings, hubs etc etc etc

Bro why would you even want to go fast on 22's wouldn't that increase the chances of damaging the wheel even if you hit the smallest bump in the road. I mean it seems you are more about show than go anyway then you minus well stay with the theme and spend the money to make you car look better inside and out. You are truly sick I'm on 18" and I fell nervous about the rims at times.

22s

Well some max owners really do not like to break the status -quo when it comes to larger wheels & tires, unless it's maybe by a inch or so. But even that is upgrading or switching out, I do agree going beyond 22s is kind of rediculous, unless it's just for show competition. I upgraded tons of suspension components on my 05 maxima, along with performance upgrades, and body fabrication. So that it performs an looks great @ the same time. Just throwing BIG azz rims on your car does look tacky, but modifying your ride to except a certain size does make the transition a bit more considerable.

22s on a 6th gen is lovely. but on a 5th gen, you are just asking for trouble. you better be gettin bigger brakes/rotors, better suspension and what not cuz you are gonna pay for it down the road. you just adding gas to the fire right?? i would recommend sellin the 22's and go back to 20's and it'll look just as lovely even without a drop. i've had homeboys put 22s on 5.5 gen and they learned the hard way. to me it looks better on old schools and 2004 vehicles and up cuz they're big enough to wear the shoes damn how is that gas milage by the way. i'd rather u get the new 30mpg nissan altima on 22's lol

yeah, there are 2 actually, white and silver, but neither is lowered. If ur gonna do it, do it right. Besides, anything bigger than 20's around here is just plain stupid- these roads will eat up them 25-30 series tires.

Hey its your $$$ do as you please.

ILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTION about performance.

Get a Ypipe, i heard they give the 5th gen 3.0's some decent power.

There was a 4th gen that came to a NYCMAXIMAS meet a coupel months ago with 22' wheels .. i threw up in my mouth.
