Shipping costs?

Ok i wasnt shure where to start this thread so here it is.I have a problem well just some bad luck.I own a 96 max with alot of time and money into it. new paint,wheel&tires,greddysp2,new ypipe soon, leather, intake, and many other small mods. Now heres the bad luck,my car is auto and iam literally the ONLY ONE 4th gen modded maxima in st,johns, newfoundland. Now talk about unique. There are others around but non modded and i havent come across a 5 spd yet for my swap i want to do this winter.I was wondering how much would it cost to ship a 5 spd maxima from say toronto or somewhere canada,to down here? Also the reason i wanted a whole car is becuse i throw the auto trans into the car that i had shipped here for a winter car.

Friend recently had a MK3 Supra shipped from MD to TX, cost about $700.

Yeah well up here 5spd maximas are few and far between. I personally have seen maybe 5-10 at my work (nissan dealer). Seems to be more 5th gen 5spds then 4th gens, and personally ive only seen 2-3 6spd 5.5's and 1 6spd 6th gen.

As for shipping, it can get pricey BUT i had a tranny shipped from Vancouver BC to somewhere in the middle of the states cant remember right now, perhaps maryland? and it only cost 130usd.

Now on top of the tranny you will need slave and master cylinder, 5spd brake and clutch pedal, flywheel, clutch, throwout bearing, shift rods, shifter assmbly, misc boots, shift ****, 5spd drive axles, stainless steel clutch line, so factor those into the cost if you were just going to get the tranny.

I think your best bet would be to find a damaged/wrecked 5spd maxima cheap in the states, then just get a freind to drop you off there and drive it back up. Shouldnt be hard to bring it across the border if its for parts use only.
