Koni struts FTW! Just don't forget to pair them with decent springs like H&R, Eibach or in your case maybe putting back stock springs would return your ride comfort

dont want to go back to stock springs beacause i like the lowered look. but would the H&R's be better than the illumina springs that the kit comes with?

That Illumina kit is fine. You're not going to be able to get much better for the money.

If you're tired of a rough ride, get SFCs and lighter rims.

coilover>spring strut for performance
spring strut>coilovers for ride/comfort

smooth ride and a slight drop, dont totally rule out maxspeeds

moving to general discussion. Read the advanced suspension stickies next time please.

also you need to not post a thread with no information, such as the year of your maxima and the suspension setup you currentlyhave.

good suspension setup?

I have an 02' Max and was wondering if anyone had any sugestions on a good setup including struts, springs, shocks, ect... I don't do much street racing just want something smooth, better than stock..

note: I will have 18' rims

illuminas have a great ride, I was dropped with stock shocks, put the illuminas and I love it, so smooth and stiff on 3, soft on 2 and too soft on 1, 4 and 5 are just way too stiff, for track only I would think, but were I live the streets are mostly pot holes cracks and dips, except the highway and some fresh pave!
