Rear brake light strip

Can someone point me to a wiring diagram, or tell me how I can check my rear brake light strip that is mounted in my spoiler to figure out why it is not lighting up? Is there a fuse, or something else I can check? I see a square thing when I open the trunk on the left side, but not sure if it is for the light. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

ok, I figured it out - I removed the padding from the trunk door, and could see the red/black wire coming out from the rear brake light strip, so I tested voltage going to it, 12v fine.

However, I found that the person who replaced the spoiler years ago did a hack job with the wiring, making splices with blue taps and a cheap connector, and there was lots of corrosion. I am guessing the stock connector would have been sealed so it would not have corroded.

Anyway, I cut all that junk wiring job out, and cleaned it up, and it works great now.

Now I just have to figure out how I am going to get the corroded screws out that hold in the license plate light bulb cover...

My license plate bracket was so corroded when I tried to get the bulb screws out (to replace a bulb), it just disintegrated. I ordered a new bracket and the 2 bulb assemblies from the dealer - all the parts cost $82 three years ago.
