LINK to changing VSS (Vehicle speed sensor)
Can someone provide a link how to change the speed sensor?? I've searched through google, but all the links provided were dead. Supposedly its cheap, so i'll try that before i change my tranny
Are you kidding? Unplug connector, remove the single bolt at holds it in, remove sensor. Install in reverse order. Please pick yourself up a Chilton's or Haynes manual before you hurt yourself.

ummm........ok...sorry but just wanted to make sure that i was doing something correctly. I moved to dc and most of my tools including manual is at home in jersey. Was trying to see if this is a job i can do at the apt complex or if i have to go back home for all my tools. Seems like its simple, so i'm guessing i can do it. But i still do'nt know where it is. So if you would kindly show me a link to where the sensor is?????? it would be great?????
It sits on top of the transmission, just in front of the firewall. If you reach in past the brake fluid reservoir on the driver's side and snake your arm through, you can reach it without taking anything off.
