thinking about changing vacum hoses

thinking about changing vacum hoses

i am thinking about changing my vacum hoses but my dad said that it would be a pain in the butt. is it really that hard to change or is it not even worth the time it takes to change them. also if anyone knows any place where i can get a set of bimmer headlight for a reasonable price please tell me.i have a 89 se

Changing vacuum lines isn't too bad. And remember that you don't have to change them ALL. If one is just REALLY a pain to get to... skip it :-) Otherwise, take your time and do one at a time and you will be fine...

Nothing to them. If you get that thick-walled stuff that grips really well you don't even need to clamp them. They just slip on. Cheers!

vacuum hoses are fairly easy to replace, at least the ones on the top half of the motor. To do all these will probably take 30-45 minutes to do. Good luck!

does anyone know where to buy them? at least ones that are exact fit for our cars. the dealership told me that they dont sell them

Dude vacuum hoses are REALLY standard stuff...

They're just difference sizes of lines

Just buy however many feet you need in whatever size you need...take off old line...cut new line to same length...put on...

No need to bring up an oldddddd thread
