Since winter is coming, what are your plans for the Max?

For me at least, mod season is kinda over. Winter I pretty much hibernate, so the car doesn't get much other than maintenance.

My question is, what do you guys have planned for next spring when the weather gets warm again? Do you guys have a winter project you work on?

p.s. this is from a New Englander's point of view, so people in Cali/Texas, news flash... we get cold and snow here.

Plans for fall/winter:
- Work on taillights (2nd set)
- Finish pieceing together VAFC+LC-1+SSI-4+a/fGauge setup for spring
- Fix DDEs (ill remove headlights, then run in my house and stay near oven)

Spring:
- 350Z Tracks
- Stillen Classic front lip
- STS
- maybe headers/y-pipe

As far as spring goes, I hope to do (with help from my tax return )

-18" MM's
-Tires
-Stillen Lip Kit
-Tints

Well, in the winter I don't really have any plans but driving and taking care of it. The Max serves as a GREAT car for dates though. =P

In the Spring I'm going to recharge my air conditioner. I have a feeling that it may need it by then.

this spring i'll be:
painting headlights (black)
painting rear window spoiler
painting side view mirrors covers
painting invader cf hood (RICE!!!)
installing 8k Fogs
installing stone racing 4th gen headers...i prototyped them
installing Apexi AFC2 w/ tune

Well since this my first winter with my maxima ill probably just stop the modding for now until the spring (save my money over winter) But my dad and I will be constantly working on our 66 chevelle that we have been working on for like the past 5yrs. We just got it painted and now the assembling will begin...finally.

Neither is a Honda Civic. Snow drifting FTMFW.

And to actually answer the question I plan on saving up my money for a good drop, possibly a 3.5 swap if things work out for the best.

I plan(can't emphasize this enough) to come in March with a drop, tints, exhaust/intake/strut/sway bars and maybe a Stillen Bodykit/Lip kit.

Chances of it happening that way? 50% (depends on if i get a job asap)

I plan a "winter rebuild" i plan on tying up alot of loose ends i.e lower control arms aftermarket bushings, drop upper and lower sway bars kit body work and electrical things of that nature,i do it almost every winter.I figure tie up the loose ends in the winter so i could have more time driving and having fun with the car during the spring and summer

I've got so much stuff in my garage right now, illumina's, h&r's, 350Z clutch, I returned sold the fidanza I had because I kept reading and reading, and decided that I'm going to keep my stocker for now, unless I start to rip apart the engine and build it up to make some serious power. I just didn't want to have to get used to driving a lowered car in the NY winter. I like having straight body-panels and shiney paint.

I am looking to buy a MIG welder, I'm sick of borrowing one every time I want something welded. I'm going to make a turbo manifold, and, maybe, just maybe, if it works out the way I want it to I can make up a proper set of plans, I'll take some orders from some 5.5 genners here for a little side cash to cover the setup of my turbo install. I'd probably be in 4 pieces (front, rear, collector, and exhaust return) But, lets not put the cart before the horse, I've got to make my manifold first!!!

Clear Sidemarker.
Clear Turnsignal.
Replace the old naviscreen with a new screen and wire it to the headunit.
Install Front Strutbar
Eyelids
engine-independent air heating system (i hope i translating it right..)

And maybe Screens in the headrest

There's still a lot to be done.

PS: Nice thread^^

Haha, no hate. But seriously, have you really needed a down jacket or something really thick? Honestly asking, no sarcasm. How cold does it get down there?

Thanks for replies everyone, interesting to hear everyones plans.

your opinion of cold differs greatly from that of mine. It really does snow up here and the temperatures are frigid. Texas can't even compare. Cold in texas is like the weather we have in september.. lol you live next to mexico how cold does it get exactly?
