Ohm rating across ACM Relay

Hey everyone. I got a couple of questions and a little something that I found when I worked on my car today. I was having intermitten check engine light problems that finally became constant. Well, in checking it out, I pulled out the multimetter and checked the ohm ratings across a lot of the sensors and relays to check for bad circuits. Everything seemed fine and then I pulled the ECM relay and acoss the live side it was a 75 ohm reading. That seemed high to me. Any one know what it is suppose to be? I found the problem finally and it was a stupid thing. Looks like one of the previous owners pulled the MAF sensor connector to change the air filter. Well, when they did, they pulled it back in but didn't clip the retainer back in. So the thing worked it's way loose. LOL>....a bunch of headaches for a stupid thing So just a thought for you guys to check out.

75 ohm is normal for the coil in a relay. What usually goes bad are the contacts inside the relay. But inorder to check that you need to energize the coil and then take a DC resistance across the other two leads that are switching the power. A little hard to explain in one sentence, but if your able to do it you should get pretty much Zero reistance across the terminals.
