pics of the 280z supercar project

needs some body work done but it's a fun car. 280z supercar ftw. Once the bodywork is dealt with it's going turbo it's a project so obviously there is a good bit of work to do.

Right now it has
l28e stock motor, newly rebuilt with all OEM parts
dual electric fans
new radiator
cold air intake
old school nismo headers
5spd
3" exhaust with 18" resonator, stainless tip
racing seats with harnesses
fuel cell
RSTB
FSB
RSB
Tokico Springs
KYB strut inserts
h4 headlight conversion
new steering rack
MSD blaster ignition
sportmax 002 wheels 16x8
fuzion ZRI 225 50 16

back with another Z car? You had a 260 w/ an RB20 in it for a little while iirc.

You going to do a l28et swap?

i want my 260z back, but that car had too much damn rust.

just swapping turbo manifolds onto the stock block... its all rebuilt and non turbo compression is still low. This car has dished pistons also. I had a 75 280z with the rb20

Never heard of that swap. Where'd you get the idea? That'd definatley be a huge force to be reckoned with, especially if you went and FI'ed it on top of the S52.

Used to have an '83 280ZX-T with the L28ET. That motor was a beast! 220k miles, pushing 12PSI with nothing but an intercooler! I never ran it at the track but some say that was good enough for low-13s. Regret selling it.

well at least the VQ isn't too expensive! Vq30de-k with supercharger would be a fun and relatively inexpensive swap (so to speak)
