I need the airbag module from a 1998 or 1999 Maxima. It is located under the center console.

I need this module to come from a car where the airbags did NOT deploy as I'm re-building a theft-recovery 1998 and this is really the last puzzle piece I need.

If you have a parts car that had rear-end damage or just a car with a blown motor that you're parting out the airbag module would be perfect. I have the airbags but I'm getting tired of driving the car with the airbag light on and I'd be pissed if I get into an accident without airbag protection.

Let me know what you have...I'm in the Seattle, WA area but shipping isn't a big deal for this small module.

just a little word to the wise! i rebuilt a theft recovery eclipse a while back and its a head ache. you need to check your local laws very carefully before you go crazy buying parts for your car! for instance in nyc its illegal to sell air bags that were taken from another car(even if its a legit sale and the bags havent been deployed yet), also here you have to provide reciepts stating the parts or part # along with the name/addr of person or place you purchased the item from, and the reciept has to state the vin# of the vehicle the the item came from!
above all things when it comes to parts that are essential for you passing inspection, make sure that they havent come from a stolen car!
