You still haven't explained yourself. I was just stating that there are other automotive products that people frequently purchase used that seem more of a risk than coilovers... Of course if you want to continue on with your immature attitude, that's fine with me.
I have yet to see anywhere in this thread that I have said anything more than "that was a stupid comparison" for you to justify that I am immature. So please don't ASSume things. What used parts are more risky like what? Cause I highly doubt a person is going to rebuild a set of Ksports to sell. So tell me, what used parts? Brake calipers? Cause brake calipers are always rebuilt. Use Strut bars? Used IM? (Cause I don't see any mechanical on that) Used window switches? Used trunk latch? Used hood? Used rotors? Used SS brake lines? Please stop me when I get hot. Cause comparing used tires to used Ksports is the dumbest thing you could have used.
Sorry for whoring up your thread 03max.

Tires? Engine? Transmission?
I simply fail to see the point you're making. I know several people who have purchased used struts and coilovers in the past w/o any significant issues. In addition, I would venture to say that most people who sell these parts aren't selling you a DOA product. Buying anything used inherently involves some degree of risk. But in an environment such as the .org where frequent and/or reputable members attempt to sell or purchase parts, there are ways to leave negative feedback and obtain some level of reimbursement. Plus, there's always the option to rebuild them, right?

Stop bickering you fruits.
Go ahead and buy used coilovers. The chance for rebuild is slightly higher since you don't know how the previous owner treated them. But I say go for it. Rebuild is cheap anyways.
