How to keep my rotors from rusting?
How to keep my rotors from rusting?
so i ordered a set of 4 brembo blanks a couple of days ago. they should be here next week.
i was reading reviews of the brembo rotors and a number of the consumers mentioned that they were upset at how quickly the rotors got a layer of rust on them.
i realize i can get galvanized or plated rotors, and that would eliminate the problem, but that kind of cost increase is not in my budget.
is there a cheap way to condition the rotors before i put them on to prevent or slow this?
is there a spray or should i cover them in something before installing?

you want to paint the areas the pad wont sweep... like the hubs, front and back... and the edges and the vanes...
you can get the paint at any auto store like pepboys or anything of the sort
