I saw that.

I really wish I lived closer to him, if only to have the chance to cave some of his teeth in.

Looks like that bimmer's thread backfired. Too bad such great cars are in the hands of some real jerks.

Forum wars?

The only way any of this becomes a "forum war" is if the rest of bimmerforums suddenly turns into mindless monkeys, and actually support the guy. I've been a member of bimmerforums since 2003 and trust me when I say: That ain't happening.

Right now, the only thing we're "battling" against, is the narrow and shallow mind of a couple of BMW fanboys.

Besides, it's a pretty entertaining thread, no?

that is super true and I totaly wish that people would grow up. I mean come on does it make you better to fight it or just let it be. you know who is right and you know where people like that sit in the world. plus racing on the street is dangerous, granted I have raced a little my self but it still isnt safe. So one of the best pieces of advice I have every gotten is to just think before you react.

Why do you even need to defend anything or correct anyone? These are internet car forums we're talking about; everyone will have their opinions and there will always be disagreements, different views, e-thugs, etc. It isn't going to hurt anyone by just ignoring the e-morons and moving on instead of causing more trolling.

Damn....man everyone hate's people with the max and there flamimg the owners. I guess there mad that they have to pay more when it comes to taking there cars to get it fix. I think there mad that the vq is the best and it's in a family 4-door and not a sports car. the bimmers have nice engines to but what's up with the hating. I hope this douch races a sleeper neon and blows his pant's off of him. Let's say he is racing a riced out civic then boom he is shocked.

From the way that guy in the BMW forum puts it, it would be like me walking down a sidewalk and someone walks right next to me and I take off running to the street corner. When I beat them there I turn around and yell "I own you!" Whatda douche. I don't think I'll ever buy a BMW because if that is the rep owners get, I don't want it.

You threatened to that you would see to it that the op would lose his
privilege to post here YET you evaded the profanity filter.

I find this thread to be very entertaining.

There is no rule in that forum that says he can't do this. Not to mention the bimmers are saying that he isn't causing any trouble.

Besides the already aforementioned evasion of the profanity filter you just committed that makes YOU look bad, please show any example in the thread I linked to where you could say I made this forum, or Maxima owners in general look bad?

I didn't even link anyone back here, nor will I. The only way they get here is if someone else did it. And yet, I feel you'll somehow find a way to blame that on me.

I hate forum wars, but in this case, I kind of have to agree with Carrrnuttt. He didn't troll another forum looking for trouble, he observed something on a forum he has been on for a number of years. He didn't come here to rally support to go and write negative posts on another forum, nor did he really even engage in a "maxima vs..." conversation. He also in no way, shape, or form mentioned or even implied anything about Maxima.org on the forums...

He simply posted a conversation he had on another forum here for other's entertainment value, as many of us have heard a number of similar posts and people on our own boards.

I really don't see this as an attempt to start a forum war...

just my 2 cents.

Absolutely. I read some replies on this thread and I wasnt sure why some guys were attacking for simply linking to another thread.

Whatever.
