Wait and see?

Very interesting indeed....I would be extremely interested in one month follow-ups after being exposed to various elements....let the panels sit outside in the rain, sun, snow, etc... and report on appearance and 'beading' maybe...except they are trying to keep everything as objective as possible and appearance is opinion. I think it'll be a fantastic study though...

Should be interesting.

Has anyone tried the Meguiar's Gold Class liquid? Any opinions (opening a can of worms)

I've tried it. I am currently running my own wax test. Simply put, I put on a wax, write down when it was put on, see how long before it loses its bead.
Meguires Cleaner Wax- starts losing bead after 6 weeks.
Under test: Mequires Gold class (7 weeks and running)
To be tested: (walmart) zymol cleaner wax, Zaino Z1/Z2/Z6.

I dont trust most tests. They never reproduce what my car goes through.

Hmmm...I've had opposite results. Yes, Meguiars Gold Class produces an excellent shine. In fact, after I waxed my car a couple weeks ago, I was absolutely stunned that a 5 year old car could look so nice. But the durability of the wax is pretty lousy. I would peg the beading at 3 weeks maximum. This is a nice show wax, but doesn't do much in terms of protecting.

I've also used good old green Turtle Wax. Works great. Doesn't shine up as well as Meguiars Gold Class, but Turtle Wax easily lasts more than a month and still beads strong.

Very interesting link, but I don't see HOW he can say zaino is one of the worst. I have used so many waxes and Zaino by far does the best. Seems to be he is biased.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Chuvachok..

I just recently used Zymol HD cleanse and Carbon wax. I have used many different waxes and this is the best by far. The guys that aplied th high end zymol didn't apply it properly. You can use sponge applicator, which makes it a lot easier than doing it by bare hand. A lot of people have said that Zaino is superior , but from the results I have seen with Zymol I feel it hard to believe.
