i just got back from the track and wanted to share my times and see what yall thought!

i had a total of 16 runs down the track. i don't have access to a scanner at the moment, hopefully soon, but my best time of the night was....

60' 2.09
330' 5.95
1/8th 9.18 @ 77.11 mph
1000' 11.75@ 88.83 mph

my mods are listed below and i was on street tires. what do yall think? lots of people there were pretty impressed with my car. is this about average? thanks!!

do you run each gear out to redline? if you are, you might try shifting a bit earlier. if you had a dyno i could tell you exactly where to shift each gear. do you have one?

i don't think the time will get any quicker unless you are able to shift more optimally or something like that. 2.09 is about as good as a street tire launch can get. drs or slicks could get you better times though of course.

no i haven't dynoed it yet. i hope to christmas break.

i usually take first grear to about 6300, pretty much redline and then i shift from second at 6200ish. but no....i don't take it all the way to redline.

would you suggest shifting earlier?

it's hard to say exactly where to shift without a dyno, but typically without a VI, optimal shift points are approximately these:

1st to 2nd: redline
2nd to 3rd: 6300
3rd to 4th: 6000

so it sounds like you were doing pretty well with what you had.

an A32 with usim 14.1-14.2 (give or take shift points 3-4 and temps) if memory serves me correct with this 1/8th et/mph the usim takes about 5 - 5.1 seconds to reach the 1/4 mile wide open !

what do you mean? are you estimating my quarter mile? 14.1 would be nice!

wow 14 lbs! that's pretty good considering the lightened flywheels weigh like 12 lbs.
