What, you got wonder rocks? Holding out on me 'eh!

But no, even the dash looks the same with the vents and everything, the gauge cluster definitly is do-able!

That video is sick, the fly by at the very end is absolutely crazy, imagine doing that to people on the highways stateside.

imho it looks like a very nice replica built from a 240sx.. they did an awsome job and it is a sick car but i dont really believe it is a true skyline.

maybe i am wrong but wernt skylines all right side drive.. meaning the driver was sitting on the passenger side???

Yes, all Skylines released in Japan were RHD only...but no, the driver doesn't sit in the passenger's side. He sits in the driver's side.

Skylines were never made LHD, so that has to be something else. Thats one of the reasons it wasn't released in the US

no way is that even possible or worth it. that is a r33 skyline all you have to know is that it is from some other country like France where they use LH drive cars. so instead of nissan having to make a new dash they just got smart and used one they already had. if it were a Jap spec from japan thsi would be wierd but it is not it is so obvious that it is from another country and all you all know nissan and most all other country change little bits here and there on forgin cars. Example: Cefiro/maxima I know many of you can name the differences.

I may be off, but I'm pretty sure that's a true R33 converted to LHD with an A32 interior.... hence why it looks so similar. Conversions are possible.

**EDIT** yeah guys, that's is a skyline.... story has it converted in Dubai and payed for by a swedish company.

That would be a bit more useful if someone's Maxima was revving to 8k. There is nothing special about the non-GTR cluster.

Ooo, I was hoping for an awesome replica. Instead, I get an awesome swap. I like oranges better than apples anyway.

Does anyone know where the NSX -> F40 conversion replica is? It was on a Jap site, and I cant find it.

Yeah that thing is sick, funny enogh that do luck exhaust is probably worth more then my maxima as sad as it sounds. It seems some of the fastest cars are owned in the middle east by the oil companies sons and stuff. They take loaded to a whole new level.

And whos going to be the first to stuff a R33 gauge cluster into a A32 maxima? I would try it if i had better electrical skills, right now there weak but developing lol.

Phmorh i have pictures of a newer NSX with he veilside kit which looks very similar to a F50. I think i only have a few though.

but something is still weird about it, like the ashtray for ex. or wheres the pass airbag??? surely they wouldn't have molded in a peice for the airbag and smoothed it in with the dash would they???? and my car is better it has intermittent wipers lol

Personally I think that whining sounds more like a race trans with straight cut gears, the whine seems very consistent with RPM, and you can still hear it when the turbo seems to drown out everything else.

With 1100BHP, I'd hope they're not using a regular style trans...

That's not a 240 and it's definitely not a 240 trunk. But the real dead giveaway is the shape of the C pillar, which undeniably screams R33.

you may be right but not b/c of the trunk, it is a r33 trunk... go to 21 seconds into the movie and pause it, the fender doesn't line up with the cab, unless thats the way they all are but it don't really look like they care about how much stuff cost which means they could have converted it also
