Skyline GTR spoiler on Maxima??

I went to LA Auto show and where was the first place I went in the show?... . .... . . The NIssan display to see the North American debut of the Skyline GTR. Its actually NOT called the Skyline, but its called the GTR. They were very secretive about it - wouldnt pop the hood, etc.

Anyway, I looked at the gorgeous car and LOOOVE it. But I was wondering . . how would the spoiler look? Soooooo, I just "happened" to bring along a measuring tape. Here are some pics and then Ill explain my measurements:

I measured from the edges of the trunk and got 41". Some a$shole asked me"Are you seeing if golf club fit?" I said "Yeah, how'd u guess?"

The overall width is about 50". The Maxima trunk measures about 47" wide. Would it look bad if the spoiler pedestals did not border the trunk? They would be about 3-4" away from edge.

Photoshop anyone?

in my opinion, no

i'll be honest - i only have liked the 07 Spoiler on our Max's - and I'm glad it came stock on mine but if i were you guys, I'd surely want the 07 Spoiler on the rear - end.

if anything, that g35 spoiler looks not too bad either.

I like it from the side but the full on view it's kinda like it looks better on a coupe. But also in for the photoshop just to see what it looks like!

please don't do it deus, i love your car the way it is right now, if you really want to change ur spoiler - either do the 07 or the g35 but surely not this. i'm all about looks as well as performance so with all honesty either leave it the way it is or go some other route. Good luck with w/e you do

try to reduce its size. The spoiler isnt that big. It is about 4 inches PER SIDE away from the trunk gap. Its maybe 4 inches high

I say go for it Deus, IT may very well compliment the sharp lines of the 6th gen especially with the roof spoiler. Naysayers usually don't have much imagination.

BTW, I'm sure they'll be making knock-off's of this spoiler soon. It won't be expensive.

This is a much better photochop, but I still think the wing on 07 Maximas looks better.

The slit makes no difference, by the way. It still sucks just as if it wasn't there.
