Painted Headlights and Angel Eye Mod II

Ok guys I have completed the final fitment of the CCFL Halos and sidemarker. I have to say at first I was a bit skeptical because they were not fluted like our headlights. But after some careful cutting and grinding of the housing I was able to seat the lights nice and close to the housings. I also blacked out the rear of the lights to get rid of the light leakage. When they are on I think they look awesome, give a whole new look to our lights. The only thing is they are tough to work with, I broke one each of the sidemarker and halos, you have to be very careful when handling and attaching them. Any way here are some pics, I am awaiting the replacement of the halo I broke then I will mount them on the car an install a new switch so that I can run them independantly of the other lights.

that link is for the older gen, there's nothing out there for the 6th gen unless you go custom.

No he had this custom done, but he said that he was helping them fit the fabrication. I'm guessing they will start selling them soon. I'm sure they will compete against Umtiza. I'd like to see some side to side comparisons, these definitely fill the headlight circles out more.

Patience guys I'm trying to work out a group deal to make it cheaper, I'm also considering doing this mod for other 6th geners who don't want to or are afraid to do it themselves.

Joe, Can you please look into getting done something for the 07's as well, please? Thanks in advance and if you could get this mod done for people who don't want to or afraid to it themselves, that's great !

Looking forward to the group deal

Are you serious? :| - So what comes in the kit?

Both Headlights painted black with angel eyes and turn signal mod or we'd have to send our headlights out? Please let us know.

Can you do anything for the 07's please? I'm sure we'd have a group of 07's interested. Please let me know as soon as possible - If it's for both headlights painted black with turn signal and angel eye - I'm down for SURE !!!

I'm dead serious. Let me know if you can stir up anything for the 07's please.

That would be for the halos only, turn signal mod was something I created myself along with the painting of the housings. They do not have a light from an 07 yet so I don't know about a halo for it. I believe from looking at it it would only require one ring for the main light. It would help if someone knew the approximate diameter of the shroud.

Oh. That sucks lol - that turn signal mod looks amazzzin !!!

Hm...Yeah, unfortunately - It'll be only one ring. I wish i knew the approx. diameter of the shroud - I hope more 07's are interested so someone can get this going. Since it's only one ring, the price will be cheaper too. Well, I hope someone can help cause I really want these. Too bad, I don't live close to you and I'm up here in Canada - Well, see if you can do somethin' for the 07's - We'd really appreciate it.

do they have HID conversions also?
How 'bout a halo for the fog light. A halo to shine while the headlights are on.

OK guys so I'm still at the modding of the headlight. While waiting for my angel eye vendor to return from a auto lighting show in Florida, I decided to do another mod to the light. I fitted a custom shroud to the directional light, the halo I have fits perfectly around its circumfrance. This is only a temp fit, so if the response is negative then I will not install them. So chime in.

I think i might like the shroud...kinda makes the signal light look smaller and more round..like the Alti headlights have. I love the SER headlights.

The shroud looks good and it will make the halo look better. The halos don't look right because they are circles and the lights are not round so it kinda sticks out.
