2007 Fujita intake owners question

Well I just bought an intake from another .org member and much to my dismay the 07 does not fit the 04 - 06.

Serves me right for not checking first, but one question.

I was looking at the parts list (some are missing) and wasn't sure what the 9/16th linear clamp is. Does anybody know what they are referring to? Is that the clamp that attaches the filter to the intake?

So, what exactly are the discrepancies with respect to fitment?

It looks pretty similar on their website but areas that are hidden from view may be different on the years. If you are interested in selling it let me know I am in the market for one in good condition.

I'm not sure. I emailed Fujita who told me that the mounting location on the two are different. They state two different part numbers on their website as well.

I was unaware of any real differences in the 07s. Lesson learned.

The seller offered me a refund on it. I can either send it back to him, or I'd be glad to sell it to you for what I've got in it - $120. I have no idea what the replacement parts from Fujita cost though - it needs the tubing and a vibration mount. It might be worth looking in to.

So you didn’t actually attempt to install it?

No. When I saw that it said 2007 only on the manual, I looked on the Fujita site and realized it was a different part number. Thats when I emailed them and discovered it mounted up differently.

04-06 and 07 have different part numbers. The mounting bracket which connects to the vibration mount is on a different location on the pipe. The linear clamp is the clamp that connects the filter to the pipe. The t-bolt clamp is what connects the pipe to the hose and to the throttle.

If you have any other questions or if you need to order any of the missing hardware just send me a PM.

Because the bracket is in a different place.......could you not mount it in an 04 - 06?

If somebody wanted to buy this from me, what would it cost to replace the broken vibration mount and tubing?

Here is a pic of everything I've got.....from looking at the instruction manual it appears that I am only missing the tubing and torx bit. Do you see anything else that should be here? Also, what are the two self tapping screws for?

This will take some underhood time, but it's very doable IMO.

Do you have a picture? By vibe mount do you just meant the rubber insert? I am not sure what you mean by tubing as the whole thing is one un-cut section of pipe. If its just a hose clamp I've got a bajillion of those in the garage. I am interested if I can make it work and the filter is in good shape. Thanks.
