Listen to this story on how I got screwed out of a Maxima. I went to a Dealer Auction in Connecticutt this Wednesday, hoping to buy a Maxima. No luck, but it just so happens that the guy I went with, my cousin, saw one of his friends that just happened to be a dealer too. He said that at his lot there was a 95 Maxima for 10,000, but that he'd give it to me for 8,500. Good deal, right? Of course, when we get there, I absolutely fell in love with the car. But I get a phone call from my dad early the next day saying that the buttplug owner of the car wants 10,000 for it. Now I'm completely screwed out of my car. Somebody give me some ideas on how to get this car.

you could pay the guy 10,000. Just kidding, be patient and you will find the one that is yours. All though the time in between really sucks!

The same thing happen to me when I saw a 96 5spd max. Only the dealer didn't even let me take the max for a spin!! HE was pissing me off 'cuz the battery wasn't even hook up. I was like the F**k! So, I told me to shove it up his @$$. Then a week later, I found my 98 5spd maxima and it rocks. All, I got to say is the wait can't be that bad....'cuz for me it was really worth it!

Offer the guy 8,500 then tell him you are looking at a couple other cars and you will get back to him.

I would look around man, don't rush into it. You will find a better deal just around the corner.

Leave him a way to get in touch with you, like a business card with your offer. So when he's ready to deal, he'll know where to find you.
