SS Clutch Line Question

Okay, I installed my SS clutchline today, and after bleeding it, the pedal feels softer...I thought it was supposed to feel firmer?
*BTW, installed a new clutch also, could that have anything to do with the softer pedal feel, or do you think it might not be bled thoroughly or what?
**There didn't seem to be any more air bubbles coming from the top/bottom bleeders.

Anybody know if any DOT3 brake fluid will work, or are there exceptions?

Clutch type has a direct effect on pedal feel. What clutch before/after?

Any DOT3 will work.

Hey man..Before it was a stock 4th gen clutch, now It's an Exedy OEM replacement, and I also added the SS clutch line during the clutch change. You think the new one may have a softer pressure plate?

Yes. I've used both clutches and the Exedy OEM ("stage 0") is definitely softer in the pedal. But it's easy to drive and works very well as long as you're not dropping launches.

Cool, then your clutch line won't boil until 536°F. I always worry about that

Dave, one more thing, does a new clutch smell like burnt clutch?
