brembo blank rotors warping easily?

Anyone having any issues with the brembo blank OE rotors warping after only 20-30k miles? I put some on my wife I30 a little over a year ago and they seem to already be warped.

Brake disks don't warp per say.
Brake vibrations are caused by pad material transfer.

I'm on my 2nd set of Brembo rotors (140,000 miles) and have never had any issues with vibrations from my brakes.
Run the correct pad for your driving style and make sure they are bed in correctly.

No, I have not had that experience. But I believe it's possible.

Pad transfer may play a role. I've also heard that excessive or uneven lugnut torque can put the rotor under unusual stress and cause problems too.

Not to beat on your past purchase, but where did you get your brembo's from? There are quite a few knockoffs that somehow manage to carry 'brembo' in the description.

I bought them from tirerack.com. I installed brembo blanks and Akebono front pads on the car maybe 30K miles ago and the front pads are needing to be replaced soon and when you are slowing down coming off of the highway, the steering wheel vibrates. The rotors aren't horrible but I notice it. I read that article and its basically saying the proper break-in is important which I did when I installed the brakes ~30K ago.

That's also where I got my Brembo blanks.

My wife is also really hard on brakes.

I'm running the exact setup, also from tirerack. I have no issues at all so far, but they were only installed this past spring. ~10K miles ago.

Brembo blanks here and No problems. You likely have a bad caliper.

what do you mean by proper break in? i actually started a thread about this a week ago because i JUST installed 4 brembo blanks and 8 akebono ceramics.
i didnt do the 60mph to 10mph to 60mph bedding, i just did the "drive lightly for 300-400 miles".

now that i have about 400 miles on them should i do the stoptech 60mph/10mph break in?

Consumer/street brake pads are designed so that the pad wears and the rotor doesn't. They work well cold but don't hold up in high heat.

Racing pads wear the rotors faster and get extra friction by actually bonding to the surface of the rotor. It takes a fair amount of heat to get that transfer layer started, and without it the pad won't generate proper friction.

Aggressive street pads fall in the middle. If you want maximum bite you may need to bed them in. But it probably won't hurt things much if you don't.

Read the instructions on the brake pads. If they mention break-in, do it. If they don't don't worry about it.

I think that's why I am not gonna go with aggressive pads. The fact is you need constant stopping, high temperature to make good use of those pads. Those pads are for AUTOCROSS.

I stepped up from OEM to PBR metal masters and i was quite impress. I had brembo blanks that made some vibrations and sounds though. Eventually they had to be cut. But now, no sounds !

Braking is amazing but the pads have worn down a lot faster (and I am in need of new ones).

OMFG YES. my rotors are glazed and have grooves and high "areas" alongg the surface. they cant have more than 5-7k on them. I put brand new blanks on the front with brand new OEM NISSAN pads all around.
They brake like crap now and I'm pretty sure the pads are already worn down. I use them hard but i mean wtf..they are brakes.
I dont know what my next move is...I dont even feel like putting new rotors on to have them mess up again. and I"m definitely not buying nissan pads anymore.

I put Brembo blanks and rebuilt Raybestos calipers loaded w/Raybestos deluxe pads. Did the bedding. No problems.

I heard brembo blanks are equivalent to other "no-name" brands. Delvin might be able to add somethin since he knows more.
if that's the case wouldn't new rotors (at like napa) cost just as much as getting these resurfaced?

Well, turns out the front brakes on my wife's car just started grinding so looks like it will be new pads and rotors again.

nobody could give me a good answer on that either. some people swear by it and others dont. The leading tech at nissan told me that you dont need to....but hey who the f**k really knows.

I already posted. I think originally i didnt bed them in but then I thought I better should and kinda just did some 60 to near stop brakes. I wasnt overly impressed with the braking but now theyve just gotten horrible. The driver side rotor glazed and wore really unevenly. I replaced the front lines with SS lines which seemed to make the pedal a little stiffer.

the braking has gotten increasingly worse and now my pads are dead with like half a year of use....I bought them in the summer from Nissan thinking I was doing some good deed to my maxima....pfff.
