The ecu is for a naturally aspirated 1996 automatic to reiterate

 

yeah tuned but for what? extended rev?

 

I would also like to know the specs of the tune??

the ts ecu has a rev limiter... I have no dynos of my car with the ecu in place but I know I have a mevi and what a combination it was... The ecu provides more torque at higher rpms ... as the mevi creates more up at lower rpms. Premium gas is required for your sparkplugs burn hotter... The specific specs of the ecu I don't have but I do know of the rev limiter And the higher rpm torque

the rev limiter is the same as a standard ecu... 6700 I believe... What's different is a new fuel map and burns hotter plugs... As for a 99.. I'm not exactly sure.. But I do know this was tuned for a 96 automatic.. I would imagine the ecu would throw several codes if used for a 99...

It wont work a 99 because of the chipped key immobalizer

 

that odd. 6700 is close to the stock limiter at 6500. i sold my ts ecu and it was programed for 7200. i believe your is the standard program with a more aggressive fuel maps.

any idea on how much hp you got out of it? im interested, but im in high school so ive got to scrape some money together

 

horsepower gains range from 10 to 15 HP... i have no dyno charts but know from the previous owner that he saw gains in horsepower... the lower RPM's are the most noticable difference with this mod.. now i had the aftermarket intake manifold (mevi) which compensated for the higher range HP (4000 - 6000 RPMS)...

the ecu was a good purchase for my N/A set up, so i went for it

 

i just left half my transmission on I75 on friday.. so its a no go on the ecu

Can someone (not newbies) vouch for you? I'm interested but skeptical about the ecu ( whether it's a real thing or not ).

 

To the seller:
Open it up and take a picture of the internals. This way anybody who is having doubts will be able to see the daughterboard and you will be much more likely to sell it. It will only take you 2 minutes. A lot of people might still be hesitant because of a guy who recently tried to move one of these for the same $300 shipped, but ended up ripping off 3 people and was never seen again.
