Quick Aftermarket alarm question

I have a ungo alarm something, model unknown, in my 96 maxi, pretty basic module it looks like. But my question is are all the wiring harness for aftermarket alarms the same? I want to just take out the module and put in a new one without having to rewire but it won't be the exact same but the same brand unless they are interchangeable and i'll get something else. thanks!

probably not interchangeable, but I would try posting this in the electronics forum. Someone in there could probably answer it best.

I would say just off of pure speculation that there are different wiring harnesses....go with a compustar alarm and auto start. Especially good in the winter=) Good luck.
