I have a feeling my wiper relay is working intermittent. My wipers will stop halfway on the wind shield at times and at the 12 noon position. This happens in the two lowest settings on the wiper switch. They also sometimes never go back down to the closed position when I turn the switch off. I heard this could be the result of the wiper relay acting up. Does this sound like the problem? If so, where is it located in the car,and where can I purchase one? Will pep boys carry them? Would appreciate any feedback.

Actually,it sounds more like a bad wiper switch..(the stalk on the steering column)

 

Is there a way to determine if the switch is bad? Is the dealer the only place to get a reliable one,and how much are they?

 

I don't how you would go about testing the switch.

I would try a used switch from a local salvage yard..I think i still have a good used switch in my parts pile if you want it.
