Is this radiator on its last leg? PICS

While changing oil today I've noticed coolant residue on top of my radiator , near the filler neck and on the right corner of the radiator ( I'm using TOYOTA red coolant) I'm not loosing or burning coolant, car has never had any cooling issues. I strongly believe that the radiator has never been replaced, I'm at 156K now.

For now i will keep a close eye on it and look for more leaks, i just need to confirm that the radiator leaks for sure, or there was a build up in system pressure and resulted in forcing the coolant out of the system. My cap seems fine and hose leading to expansion tank is nice and tight.

Any thoughts?

those rad tops are plastic and do crack. go to a rad shop or your tech and have them do a pressure test, takes like 5 minutes and will determine if its leaking. and, i would'nt recommend using red anti-freeze for toys, it does'nt really work any better than the green does and my rad shop told me it does'nt hold up as long as they say.

Mine has a hair line crack in the top. It was hard to tell until the car was warm and I could see fluid and air bubbles coming out when it was hot. So, instead of getting a new stereo for this past Christmas Im getting the radiator replaced this weekend. So, Id say check your fluid, fill it up and drive the car around to operating temp and then check to see where it is leaking from. I thought it was the radiator cap too.

Off topic, but are those TSW Revo's? I haven't seen those in years.
+1 on the pressure testing.

I had this same problem a couple weeks ago. There was a hair line crack that was right under the filler neck and it ended up getting bigger and then one day i looked down at my temp gauge and it was on H lol so I ended up changing my radiator, thermostat, and doing an entire coolant system flush. Runs great now and all for all for a bit over 100 dollars.

have it pressure tested as stated, but it looks like the top tank seal has gone due to the way that the leak is
