Hey anyone else do this??? Or have you heard of this happening???
I just finished breaking in my ACT cluctch and Aluminum flywheel...and while cleaning the car I decided to clean the K&N Air filter cone...that thing was caked with a whole lot of crap...hadn't cleaned it since I've had it so probably a year or so. Anyway after I cleaned that I'm driving in first out of a parking lot at like 3000 RPM and decide that I'm going to gun it because I have it done it in a while...and I pick up and go then when I hit about 5000 RPM I peel out until like 6200 RPM and then I grab traction until I shift at 6500 RPM...I thought it was maybe just the pavement or something...but it seems to happen like everytime I floor!!! It is awesome power, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem...because I think this would definitely effect my racing but it is really cool to have control of traction until that point and then break traction...all of a sudden...I think it is kinda intimidating. What do you guys think??? Or have any of you had this happen??

Maybe your tire are getting a little bald, which eases lose of traction.

The combination of your new flywheel and a nice clean air filter is giving you more power/torque. Enjoy it!
