Cost to paint my car

I just bought an 02 . Car exterior is just crappy. I could compound and polish the **** out of it and still not be happy.

I would like to paint the entire car, same color it is now, and get any nicks dings corrected.
Ball park what should I expect to pay....do not need top of the line but Macco is not touching my car either.

you will probably be looking at between $2500 and $4000 for a quality job

Agreed. Quality paint jobs aren't cheap.

I might be grasping at straws here, but why buy a car with a crappy paint job to begin with?

sounds right unless you have friends that can do body work, and or do your own prep/body work and have your friends spray the car for you, at the least doing that you are still looking at spending 400

My paint is gross too. I dont even take pictures of her anymore cuz i see things that i wanna fix but cant. I cant afford any of those numbers you threw out there scottwax but i do have ample time, a compressor, and an area to paint in.

How hard would something like this be? http://www.easypaintyourcar.com/
