Why do some 2000 maxes sell cheaper then 4th gens?

I just saw a 2000 max for 2900 on craiglist and another one for 3500. 97 + are going for about the same. Whats the deal?

Depends on mileage and condition. Perhaps the 4th gen has lower mileage and/or was better maintained than the 2000.

00^ maxima's are all atleast worth 5k. otherwise its a pusher or scam.

that max most be pos if its less than a 4th gen, I bought my second 4th gen in sep. for 3500, and its in great shape

We just had to come up with a compromise. I can drive the car, do small mods to the car, but must consult on all major purchases. which is anything over $1.

you are just looking at scam artists. i can find a 2000 porsche on craigslist for 3k, but ill tell you what - it aint legit.
