Death of my beloved 4th gen

I had a 96 nissan maxima with some mods and I enjoyed driving every minute of it untill... some lady thought that she can run the red light . It all happened so fast I just couldn't believe it for a few seconds. She hit me from the left side and my car spun about 120 degrees in the middle of the intersection. Sorry for the quality of the pics, they were taken from my cell phone.

Man that sucks! That front end got smashed in pretty good. I would seriously cry if that happened to my baby. Hope everything works out for ya. Glad to hear you're alright.

It looks like how my Chevy Prizm looked after being hit by a Dodge Ram that pulled out in front of me. Sorry about your car man, but at least there are plenty of Maximas for sale on the org.

Thanks guys for all your concern.
It happened about 4 weeks ago, it was just too painful to look at the pics and post it in the org. I just did not wanted to post it unless I have it all figured it out.
It was a 2001 toyota camry that hit me around 40mph like ROCKART guessed. It was my first accident in my first car and everything happened so quickly I just couldn't believe what happened. I was in shock after a hit, but still I looked to the light and it was green. At first, I said "Are you OK?", then after hearing a positive answer, I said I had a green light and it was her fault. She said she had a green then changed her story saying that she was trying to make it on yellow. Fortunately, I had a witness on my side. Then we all know what happens next: police, medics and firetruck comes in and blah blah. I was slightly injured, I had sore neck and back, and my right knee hurt for a few days because it hit the steering column. Other than that, I was fine. Thanks to my beloved maxima, I continue to live...
Anyway, local towing company truck came in and it was the most painful moments to watch her go. After all the miles (41k miles or about 2.5 years), after all the work, everything was gone in a flash...
The next day, lady's insurance company called to get the details of the accident. It took them a week to estimate a damages and it was considered it was a total loss. They accepted the liability and paid for the car+other expenses.
Last Tuesday I got another car and I love it as much as I did the max. I'll post a link to her later.
p/s: My max maybe physically dead, but her soul continues to live on.

No, insurance company already took her. Besides, I did not have the time or the energy to part it out.

Sorry for the loss, such a nice car and It looks like a 98-99 model, maybe you did the mods and upgrades, but the car looked really nice and It is sad to see It go away on a tow truck. I would have shed some tears.

I know how you feel man, totaled my max a month ago today.. insurance company took her away, and I feel like a piece of me is missing.

Just be glad you're alright, my max took the hit like a champ and I got away with only a concussion, and it seems you're ok as well, so just be thankful for that.
