Hi All,
I am not sure what happend, however, today I went out to the maxima and found the the shade on the moonroof and popped out of the track on the left hand side. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I have tried pushing it back into the tracks by bending it in the middle but it won't go back into the track. Should I follow the moonroof removal tips and just stop when I get to the part about removing the shade and just realign it instead of removing it?

 

When I first bought my car the shade was also off the track on one side. I too tried fixing it by bending the shade to force it back into the rail. I finally gave up and had to remove the moonroof glass to realign the shade.
