FS: Strut Mounts, Rear Struts, Speedo Cluster, etc.

Hi There:

I recently sold my 98 SE and have been sorting through some parts for the Max that have to go. Here is what I have left, so let me know whether you can use them:

(2) BNIP OEM Front Strut Bearings -- $45.00 shipped (they were $31.00 each new plus tax)

(2) Almost brand new OEM Front Strut Mounts with only about 50 miles on them. Brand new they were $41.00 each. Both shipped for $60.00.

(installed them to diagnose a clunking in the front that turned out to be the ball joints and stabilizer end links. Removed and reinstalled my original mounts that were still in decent shape.)

(2) OEM Rear struts from a 2000 Max with only 30K miles on them. They will fit any 95-00 Max with no modifications. $45.00 shipped

(1) 98 SE White Face Speedo cluster (with clear plastic cover) with approx 148K miles. I bought it to try and repair my dying odometer/speedo gauge, but ended up getting a speedo head unit and swapping mine out. Everything works fine on it. No burned out bulbs either. $45.00 shipped.

(1) Front Hood Strut still good with more than 1/2 the gas pressure left. Not strong enough to hold up the hood, but plenty if you need it for a trunk hinge mod. $10.00 shipped

I still have the original SE centercaps somewhere in my dad's garage. When it finally starts to thaw out here I will look for them and post them if I can find them. All prices are negotiable and package deals are welcome. If you are near the Chicagoland area, pick up is fine and/or we can meet somewhere in the Loop.

PM me with your offers. Time to clean house!!

Thanks,

Ted

Anyone need any of these parts? Please don't make me resort to FleaBay to sell these.

Give me your best offers and let's make a deal.

Thanks.

Ted

4th gen 95-99 rear struts will not fit correctly on a 5th gen 00 max. The lower spring perch is slighly different (larger), it will only work on a 5th gen if a 4th gen spring is used.

Actually, I am selling the rear struts from a 2000 Max for use on a 4th Gen Max, not the other way around. As far as I know, they will fit any 95-00 Max with no problems.

Let me know if you are interested in any of the other parts listed.

Thanks

I can try and snap a photo or two of the strut mounts and bearings, but they are just plain factory parts. No rust on the mounts and still really clean. The bearings are still in the plastic.

PM me know if you are seriously interested.

Hey there. I wasn't able to post a new thread so I decided to post my issue on this one. I have a 2000 Maxima GXE with 112000 miles. I recently replaced my fog light bulbs not to long ago and after couple days they both died out. I replaced them again but they don't seem to work (turn on). I checked the fuses and they seem fine. What other troubleshooting would you guys suggest?
I appreciate your help

Hecmaxi:

All I can tell you is check your connections and then test the wiring and grounds with a circuit tester. Before you get a nasty PM from a senior member, in the future you should post any troubleshooting questions in the 4th Gen Discussion Forum.

In response to the above members, I do not know whether I can post any photos, but if you PM an email address, I could try and upload some for you. Thanks.

** Update **

So far I have a tenative buyer for the front suspension parts. If he does not pick them up and pay cash by next Monday I will repost them.

I still have the SE white face speedo cluster with digital odometer display. Anyone need this for their car?

Shoot me a PM and an offer if you think $45.00 shipped is too high. I have no need for this part.

Thanks,

Ted

Hi dmilamj:

The prospective seller got back to me yesterday and was supposed to call me today to set up a time to pick them up. I will give him until tomorrow morning to confirm If he does not, the front strut mounts and bearings are yours.

Will let you know either way.

** Speedo cluster and rear struts are still available!! **

Front strut mounts, bearings and rear struts are sold!!!!!!!!!!!

Still have the SE cluster with white face gauges and digital odometer. $45.00 shipped is a great deal. Stop offering me $35 or less. It wiull cost me $15.00 to ship this securely so I am not making much on this. Good luck finding one of these in working condition.

I am also selling some replacement steering rack boot kits in the General Classified section. If yours are torn or barely hanging on, contact me.

Thanks,

Ted
