Altima Se-r caliper pads

I have a set of Altima Se-r pads and a set of 2004 Maxima pads and they are clearly not the same, but I have read where people said they are. Does anyone have any info on this who has done this mod? The Altima Se-r pads have about another 1/2" on the top of the brake pad. Thanks.
