The only Clearance Issues i had were for the Bi-Xenon Solenoid, All i had to do was cut a little off the bottom. If i would have used a Lowbeam Only Projector i don't think i would have any Clearance issues. The light output looks great.

what did you do for shrouds? this is the only thing holding my retrofit back, trying to find the PERFECT shrouds.

*OFFTOPIC* why do certain stillen body kits have the "stillen" embosed on them and others dont? are some just copies of stillen originals?

it was only about 5 feet away. i didnt adjust them all the way yet, just enought to get me down the road.

The projectors are BMW E55-E60 Bi-Xenons. They have a custom made shroud for RetrofitSource.com. and i got everything for Ebay. I did this with the Help of GTR_Rider.

Bad A$$ man. great work. I love how they line up with the grill better than E36. I prefer the E36 set myself, but to each his own. Great work man. Good installation. Overalll....very clean car.

You going to paint the side skirts and rear white also? I got all black stillen kit, and white max, I like the black on white two tone myself.

Also I noticed the side lights on the fenders, look very nice as well. What you have those wired up to? Turn signal, fog lights, lights? Any modifications to install or mostly wire?

Once again, great work. I was curious how much the whole project cost you without the headlights.

it was $180 for the Projectors and $130 for the HID kit. and about 3 days of labor.

Thanx, yea I plan on painting the whole kit. i just have to re-fit it and find a boyshop that will help/let me paint it. and the side markers are wired to the front turn signals, and i had to cut the fender and wire it up.

Looking REALLY good man! Ive always wanted to get those headlights once I saw them on ebay and do the same thing.

On the thread title, my first reaction was "Can I make fun of you for it?" But I had just got off work and my friend did the "Look what I can do" that the tall guy on SNL does when he plays that kid stewart. With such a sweet mod my initial reaction is just all the funnier.

Looks good man, I wish I could of spent all that time and put the hard work into retrofitting similar projectors. I got a hid kit for free that fit my max. Was a waste of my 10 min to put them in cause when I turned them on onto my garage door, I knew I was gonna blind people. I ended up taking them off 5 min later.

BTW. Does anywhere still sell the stillen lip for our gen. I cant seem to find one.

Will i have to hand it to you buddy. your setup looks really clean and sexy. can't wait till im done with my retrofit. im also using the BMW E60 bi-xenon projectors on mine. the only thing that is still holding me back is the rear shroud and the glass clear lens and the ccfl angel eye rings that i still have to install. i haven't been able to finish this since im always at school and work and barely have any time to continue the retrofit. i will eventually finish this but overall your max is one sexy 3rd gen!
