The ultimate maintenance service?

Dealers maintenance services (such as the 60,000 mile service) do a lot of "checks" but don't end up replacing many things unless they are already broken. So the question is: If money wasn't much of an issue, what would your ideal maintenance service include? Keep it within reason.

To start things off:
  • new front wheel bearings
  • new spark plugs
  • transmission fluid; oil change; radiator flush
  • brake bleed; new pads
  • new coil packs
  • new strut mounts
  • alignment/rotate/balance
  • VIAS fix/check
  • new o2 sensors

what would you add?

Struts too. Specially the rears. Mounts last longer than struts do.

actually just bought a ton of parts for tune-up also replacing some suspension parts as follows: for the tune-up: oil change and filter (mobil 1), tranny fluid change (oem) , anti freeze flush and fill (toyota red), new plugs, new belts, pcv valve.. for suspension: new front and rear mounts (kyb), inner and outer, left and right tie rod ends, and stabilizer links (moog) .. also the illuminas and h-techs goin on.... my car has 56,600 miles on it right now but the city kills suspenion

that's quite the tune up man. forgot about belts.

that was a hint that this thread isnt needed...most people know what needs to be done. if they dont, they can search and find out.

65K miles on car
plugs
coils
brake fliud
clutch fluid
tranny fluid (redline MT90)
oil
brake pads (hawk HPS)
belts
coolant flush
2 oldest 02 sensors

sooner - thanks for adding something helpful. I agree that most people know what needs to be done, but I'm also looking for things that might not need to be done but would be helpful preventative maintenance. Plus it is nice to have a list in one thread, especially for noobs that don't know what to search for (if you don't know what coils are, it will be hard to search for it)

I was thinking of adding MAF sensor but I'm not sure whether that degrades over time, or only if you mess with it while putting on an intake or something.

While we're on the subject, I was actually wondering what kind of maintenance I need to do on my VQ35 that just rolled over 25k.

I'm sure this has been discussed thousands of times, and I thought there was a maintenance sticky, but I couldn't find it and the free search feature isn't that helpful.

Is there anything that needs to be done before 65k? Or is the major maintenance done in 65k intervals?

I'd subtract the wheel bearings, brake bleed and pads, coil packs, strut mounts, VAIS and O2 sensors and only address them as needed. No sense replacing what may be perfectly good parts. Instead of a brake system bleeding, a fluid replacement would be better.

I'd add checking the alternator and power steering belts and I assume you've visited our detailing forum for proper finish maintenance too.
